Adult Workshops
One day workshops....arrive in the morning with your materials ready to learn and create.... leave in the afternoon with a new piece of ART work!
The fee for our 5 hour workshop is $150. -
We will send you a materials list once we receive your registration and fee.
Class materials will vary depending on the class.
All levels welcome.....~
Class size: minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 people per class.
If you book a class and it is cancelled due to not meeting the requirement of people attending, you will be issued a credit towards your next class.
We supply napkins, cups and plates.... you bring a drink* of your choice and food to enjoy while you create art!
*(you may bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer).

All classes held from 11 am to 5pm
Nov. 13: Painting: acrylic on wood and/or canvas.
Using acrylic paint students will create a painting on wood or canvas; exploration, composition, value, color, materials, and techniques are covered. Students paint from still life.
Dec. 11: Miniature canvases make perfect gifts!
Using acrylic paint students will create a painting on miniature canvases; exploration, composition, value, color, materials, and techniques are covered.
Jan. 8: Collage workshop: Hopes and Dreams for 2012
Create a piece of art which will remind you all year long of your goals, hopes and dreams for 2012-using multi-layered work that incorporates printing techniques, text, stamping, photo transfer images made possible with acrylics and gel mediums.
Feb. 12: Abstract art.
Students find the abstract in the world around them and interpret what they see and feel intuitively rather than planning and designing each step. Critiques and demonstrations are included. All levels are welcome.
March 11: Color Theory. What is the color wheel? How do you mix colors? An understanding of color theory is essential for students making the transition from drawing to painting. This workshop helps those who are unsure of the role color relationships play in art and design.

May 13: Life Drawing-introduction. Participants create drawings based on in-class observation of a model using gesture, line, and tone with simple materials such as charcoal pencils and black pastel. Model fees are extra.
You must be accompanied by an adult if you are under the age of 21.

To book a pARTy there is a minimum requirement of 6, max 12.
Please call for availability, parties can be held on Friday evenings, Saturday evening and Sunday.
There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking.
Can you come to my location?
Yes, we can bring the party to you! There is a minimum requirement of 12 people. The cost is $60 per person which includes all materials. for a 2 hour class.

Cancellation policy:
Please notify us within 24 hours of the workshop if you will be unable to make it. If you do not give us a 24 hour cancellation notice you will loose your payment or gift certificate. If we have a no show / no cancellation, then the credit card that made the reservation remains charged. However, if you give us the 24 hour cancellation notice we can credit your reservation for another night.
